The Seven Steps to Effective Prayer

with Biblical References

 

STEP ONE:
I release all of my past, negatives, fears, human relationships, self-image, future, and human desires to the Light.

BIBLICAL PASSAGES:

Psalms 55:22 - Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall nourish thee.
I John 4:16 - And we know and have believed the love which God hath in us. God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him.
I John 4:18 - There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear
.

 

STEP TWO:
I am a Being of Light.

BIBLICAL PASSAGES:

I John 1:5 - This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
Gen. 1:27 - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Or…So God created humans to be like himself; he made men and women.

 

STEP THREE:
I radiate the Light from my Light Center throughout my being.

BIBLICAL PASSAGE:

Matt 6:22 - The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

 

STEP FOUR:
I radiate the Light from my Light Center to everyone.

BIBLICAL PASSAGE:

Matt. 5:16 - Make your light shine, so that others will see the good that you do and will praise your Father in heaven.

 

STEP FIVE:
I radiate the Light from my Light Center to everything.

BIBLICAL PASSAGE:

Matt. 5:14 - Ye are the light of the world.

 

STEP SIX:
I am in a bubble of Light and only the Light can come to me and only the Light can be here.

BIBLICAL PASSAGE:

Rom. 13:12b - Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

 

STEP SEVEN:
Thank you God for everyone, for everything, and for me.

BIBLICAL PASSAGE:

Eph. 5:20 - Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything.
