Matt Venuti in Concert on January 14th

Join us on Sunday, January 14th from 4 to 6 PM as we host singer-songwriter Matt Venuti. He’ll accompany himself playing the Hang and other melodic-percussive acoustic instruments developed in Switzerland, as well as the highly expressive and dynamic Electronic Valve Instrument (EVI) wind synthesizer. He was among the first to explore both of these instruments and share them with the world. His looping device allows him to create lush layers of cinematic and other-worldly sounds, effects and melodies.

Matt Venuti is an artist who truly defies categorization. He’s a singer-songwriter, a one-man ensemble and modern day troubadour who often enhances his solo shows with a looping device that allows him to create lush layers of cinematic and other-worldly sounds, effects and melodies. All performed in the moment and never pre-recorded.

Matt has a history of performing at progressive events and diverse venues throughout the Americas and occasionally abroad, including the Main TED conference and 4 different TEDx conferences. He tours extensively, performing over 100 solo concerts per year. Matt has multiple album releases, one reached #4 on the CMJ journal and his most recent debuted at #6 on the ZMR top 100.
