To provide an environment that supports individual and universal transformation through effective prayer, compassionate education, service, and creating Good moment by moment.

About the Mission Statement:

When we start increasing our awareness of the Divine we find our lives start to change. Our bodies and mind work better. Our relationships become more smooth. We have less turbulence in our lives even if our routine doesn't change. Things that might have frightened us at one time now seem to be handled with ease. We have more capacity for love for others and the desire to express that becomes strong. People around us change as well. The immovable becomes fluid and the improbable becomes common place. If there is one thing that can affect your life more thoroughly than anything else, it is to be more aware of the Divine. As your awareness grows you begin to KNOW the truth that YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. You realize there isn't any difference between you and anything else, no separation. Your consciousness acknowledges that everything and everyone are facets of God and with this knowledge your being starts to increase the awareness of the Divine for everyone else.

United Research provides a nondenominational supportive environment for encouraging personal and planetary transformation through prayer. We are dedicated to helping all people expand awareness of their inner Light and to pray more effectively. Our site offers instruction in the use of Effective Prayer, a Calendar of upcoming Events (including programs and speakers), and  World Prayer Missions.  You may also purchase materials through our bookstore (special orders are available) or reserve space in the UR Lodge for your own personal retreat.

The Light Center's spiritual mission requires physical, mental, and spiritual support.  Help us light up the world with your enthusiasm, energy, skills and prayers.  Your time and efforts are welcome.
