Through prayer all things are possible.

 United Research was founded in order to teach people to pray more effectively. The Light Center was created as a place for 24-hour prayer.  

Below are links that will put you in touch with two central areas in regard to prayer and United Research - the World Prayer Focus program and UR Prayer Missions.

World Prayer Focus:

In keeping with the mission of the Light Center…prayer for the world…the World Prayer Focus program is dedicated to focusing prayer for an entire month to a different country or set of countries to promote healing and increase Light.

Each month a portion of the world is sponsored with specific issues or needs in regard to the location outlined. We ask you to assist us in sending Divine Love and Light to those areas each day. Incorporate the area into your daily planetary prayers.

Why Prayer Missions?

United Research is dedicated to increasing awareness of the Divine and transforming Earth into a holy place, a planet of Light. Our vision of Earth is a planet where people see each other only as Light. A planet where we not only see the Light in each other but help each other to increase the Light.

Prayer missions are one of the things we do to fulfill that vision and purpose. Our objective on these missions is to fill the places we visit and the people we see with Divine Light and Love and then to surround and fill the planet and everyone on it with Divine Love.

In conducting these missions, we bring Divine Light and Love to the world through prayer. From personal experience we know that prayer works. And prayer works not only on an individual scale, it works on a global scale.

Everything we do on prayer missions is to honor people – no matter what their nationality is, no matter what their religion is, no matter what their race is. All people want God. Our prayers are to facilitate people finding God, finding the Divine within themselves. The Divine is awakened in others through the greatest power there is: prayer that touches deeply. Through this prayer, people are changed. They feel the Love. They feel the Light.

Since initiating prayer missions in 1982, United Research has traveled to over 50 countries on six of the seven continents (Antarctica is the only continent we have not visited yet). Our prayer missions have taken us to places as diverse as Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, England, Germany, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, South Africa, and Syria. Within the United States, our prayer missions have been to our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., as well as other major cities such as Atlanta, Chicago, New York, and San Francisco.

While our emphasis has been on traveling to nations in need, we also have visited places with unique spiritual energies and histories, such as the pyramids in Egypt, Jerusalem in Israel, Machu Pichu in Peru, and the Hopi Nation in the U.S.

In each country we visit, we spend three days in the capital, praying for the country, its people, its government, and its relations with surrounding countries.

Our prayer missions are open to all – whether you are new to United Research or have been associated with it for a long time.

No special preparation is required for these missions. You already are special. You have the Light within you. You have the Divine Love within you. Your willingness to share this Light and Love with others is all that is required.

We do not mandate a particular approach to prayer. We know that as long as you pray with sincerity, aspiration, and love, the Divine will hear and respond to your prayer.

Your experiences on a prayer mission will be among the most memorable of your life. You will be moved by what you see. You will feel the hopes, the dreams, and the glory of other peoples. You will see how they live, hear their music, see their dance. Feeling their aspirations and frustrations, you will want to pray for them.

These prayer missions are an opportunity for you to love. To love deeply another people. And in doing so, to know that you are loved. To know that God loves you. To know that you are that love.

You will know that every person on Earth is calling out to be loved. Is calling out for what you have to offer - your Divine Love. All that counts is the feeling of this Divine Love pervading Earth. Nothing else. It is you.

This moment is the only one that counts. Help the people of Earth change to Light. Help increase the Light and Love.

Be a changer.

Be a doer.
